The story behind Solace Borderless
Set a game to windowed mode, open Solace Borderless and click Make borderless next to it. The title bar and frame are removed and the window covers the whole monitor, so alt-tab and a second screen keep working as they do with any window. Click Restore, or press the hotkey again, to put it back exactly as it was.
You can pick which monitor the window goes to, or give a custom size such as 2560x1080 to centre it at that size. Press Ctrl+Alt+B (you can change it) to toggle the active window. Use Remember on a game and Solace Borderless applies the same settings automatically a moment after the game opens. If a game puts its border back, it is removed again.
Solace Borderless changes only the window's style and position with standard Windows calls; nothing is injected into the game. Every window is restored when the app quits, and after a forced quit the next start restores them. There is no account and no telemetry; the app contacts SolaceSoftware only when you click Check for updates.

Unzip the download and run Solace-Borderless-1.0.0-Setup.exe. It installs for your Windows user only and adds a Start menu entry.
Closing the window keeps Solace Borderless in the tray; quit from the tray menu. Start with Windows stays off until you turn it on. Some Microsoft Store or Xbox app games may not respond.
