ABOUT THIS PRODUCT
The story behind Solace Git
Git on the command line is powerful, but a branch graph, a half-staged file, or an interactive rebase are hard to follow as text. Many developers end up guessing at what a reset or rebase will do and then trying to undo it. Solace Git shows the repository in one window: the commit graph, branches, tags, stashes and your local changes side by side.
You unzip the package, run Solace Git and open a folder or clone a repository. It runs the Git for Windows you already have. Stage whole files, single hunks or single lines, then write the message and commit. From the graph you can check out, cherry-pick, revert, reset or rebase. Interactive rebase, blame, image diffs, the merge-conflict view, worktrees, submodules, git-flow and Git LFS are built in. Solace Git has no telemetry, update checks or online avatar lookups. It contacts only the remotes your Git uses. An optional AI commit-message helper sends a diff only to a service and key you configure yourself.
